WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart wrote the following on Twitter about Daniel Bryan’s loss at WrestleMania 28 and the feedback from fans:
“Very glad the fans were vocal in their displeasure of one of the best wrestlers on the roster being jobbed out in 18 seconds.”
Yet again, the WWE hit and miss with a gross misuse of talent. Bryan Danielson one of, if not the most hard working and deserving wrestlers to perform on the grandest stage of them all goes down in his Wrestlemania debut. If it wasn’t bad enough to have Danielson in the ‘opening’ contest, he loses in a matter of seconds.. WHAT THE F***.
#Are you serious bro!
Now ignoring the fact that the man he lost to was Triple H jr. The protege of The Game himself, Danielson like many others are hard done by in a company that hasn’t been actually about ‘Wrestling’ since the early 90’s. The top guys in that company aren’t always world class wrestlers. As far as being ‘The Man’ - being 6’6 and having a bodybuilder’s physique is more essential than having any actual wrestling skills at all.
despite being the heel, Danielson was obviously the fan favourite in Miami, the ‘Yes!’ signs filled the arena, and the fact that he jobbed that night is a crying shame, because he could’ve done so much for the WWE that night. If he was only given the opportunity to showcase his talents to the world on that big a stage.
Taking nothing away from Sheamus but Danielson can do so much more!
No wonder why no one watches Wrestling anymore -.-
